About the Instructors

 

Mr. Donal O'Donoghue commenced his Taekwon-Do career in 1985. Mr. O'Donoghue was promoted to I Dan Black Belt in 1991 and most recently to IV Dan Black Belt in 2007. Mr. O'Donoghue has completed three International Instructor Training Courses under the ITF Technical and Instruction Committee.

As a competitor Mr. O'Donoghue held National Champion titles in Patterns, Sparring and Special Technique Breaking. At International level Mr. O'Donoghue won a silver medal for III Dan Patterns at the 2005 European Championships in Italy and was a member of the Irish National Team which won a silver medal in Male Team Pattern event at the 2005 World Championships in Germany.

Mr. O'Donoghue is a member of the ITA Executive Committee, IMAC Executive Committee, Taekwon-Do Advisory Board, ITA Business Development Committee, ITA Tournament Committee and ITA Technical and Instruction Committee.

Ms. Nicola McCutcheon commenced her Taekwon-Do career in the Taekwon-Do Centre, Dublin.

Ms. McCutcheon graded under Master Brendan O’Toole, Master Val Douglas and Mr. Gerry Martin for I Dan Black Belt.

Ms. McCutcheon has completed two International Instructors Courses under the ITF Technical and Instruction Committee.

As a competitor Ms. McCutcheon has held National Champion titles in Patterns, Sparring and Power Breaking.  At International level Ms. McCutcheon won a Bronze medal for Female I Degree Patterns at the 2005 World Championships in Germany and a Bronze medal in Female -52kg sparring at the 2005 European Cup in England.
